Financial domination (Findom)

One partner (often the sub) derives excitement from giving money or gifts to the dom or being “exploited” financially. For instance, the dom orders the sub to buy them something or pay an allowance, and the sub gets off on the powerlessness of it. This usually requires a lot of trust and boundaries (like not ruining one’s actual finances – it’s consensual play, often with a budget set). In a partnered relationship, this could be as simple as roleplaying that the sub’s “wallet is yours” for the night – you make them pay for dinner, etc., in a game of them serving you.
